Zohar Shachak is a Canadian Character Illustrator and Concept Artist working in digital media from Toronto Canada. Creating fantasy and sci-fi themed animations and illustrations he uses his work to emphasize the values of using escapism as a coping mechanism for stress, bullying, and dealing with mental illness. Zohar is actively interested in the production of videogames and movies seeing them as another outlet to share the values of escapism. Zohar's commercial work includes illustrationg for The Beast of Gevaudan board game, working as a Storyboard Artist and Animation intern for the Toronto Youth Wind Orchestra. He has also worked as a freelance artists creating commissions for clients since 2018.

Field placement with the Toronto Youth Wind Orchestra working on an animated music video to a soundtrack. Work included storyboarding, concept art and animating (Completed April 2020).
